Wickersham is owned and operated by Gerald E. Kane(Jerry). Jerry is a graduate civil-engineer with over thirty years of construction experience. He has built everything from landing strips in forward combat zones to high rise buildings and hospitals. Since 1985 he has focused exclusively on "upmarket" single family homes in the Western Philadelphia Suburbs and Main Line. He is also the owner of AAA Basement Waterproofing, (www.aaawaterpro.com).

Jerry holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering as well as a master's degree in buisness administration. He served in The United States Army Corps of Engineers and was awarded the Bronze Star for ground combat operations in Vietnam. He attained the rank of Captain.
